Course overview:
To provide childminders with a basic understanding of fire and fire procedures to meet the OFSTED requirements. The course is designed to provide a very cost-effective way of training you with the minimum disruption to your work. This course will be of benefit to childminders and help them to achieve a greater understanding of fire and fire prevention, and training in the use of a fire blanket on a live fire scenario.
Who should attend:
Any childminder who feels they would benefit from a bespoke course.

At the end of the course students will:

Understand what to do in the event of a fire

Have an awareness of dangers from fire within the home

Demonstrate understanding of a safe evacuation of the building

Demonstrate safe use of a fire blanket
